Join us on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 2-4PM (ET) for an online presentation with Darra Goldstein, founding editor of Gastronomica and an award-winning author and scholar of food studies. Goldstein will explore the relationship between Russian cuisine and national identity, tracing how political shifts—from the reforms of Peter the Great to contemporary conflicts—have shaped what Russians cook, eat, and celebrate. This talk highlights the richness of Russian culinary traditions while examining the powerful role food plays in politics and culture.
